The original guidelines below are platform rules, not a statement of Australian law. Check the current official guidelines, including eligibility requirements, before joining or posting.

A shared community is not permission to disclose

You might recognise someone from a regional workplace, local club or mutual friends. That does not give you permission to reveal their diagnosis or participation on a dating platform. Do not post private messages or identifying screenshots.

Ask rather than assume

Respect differences in culture, language and relationship expectations. Someone's accent, location or identity does not tell you what they want. Be clear about your intentions, accept a refusal and stop contact when asked. HSV status is never a reason for humiliation or harassment.

Use the appropriate reporting channel

Welcome to the PS community! We are committed to providing all members a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment. Please review the following guidelines to help ensure a positive experience for everyone.

  • Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA)

    PS is dedicated to protecting children and ensuring that no content or behavior on our platform endangers them. Any form of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Uploading, sharing, storing, or soliciting any content that sexualizes or exploits minors, including visual depictions (photos, videos, illustrations), text, or third-party links.
    • Sexualized Discussions Involving Minors: Sharing inappropriate or explicit comments about or directed toward children.
    • Child Grooming: Engaging in predatory behavior, such as attempting to befriend minors with the intent of exploitation or abuse.
    • Impersonation: Creating accounts impersonating minors or using profiles of children for sexual or exploitative purposes.
    • Photos of children must meet the following standards:
    • Children must be fully clothed.
    • Children cannot appear alone; a parent or guardian must be present in the image.
    • Photos that include children's genitalia or buttocks, even when partially covered or obscured with emojis, are strictly forbidden.
    • Important: While we understand some users may want to share photos of their children appropriately, any discussions or imagery involving minors must remain lawful, relevant, and respectful.
    • How We Handle Violations
    • Violating this policy will result in immediate account suspension or removal.
    • In accordance with U.S. law, any instances of suspected child sexual exploitation, grooming, or abuse that come to our attention will be reported to NCMEC. NCMEC may share these reports with relevant local, national, or international law enforcement agencies to facilitate further investigation.
    • Reports made to NCMEC may be shared with local and global law enforcement agencies.

    • If you come across any content or behavior violating this policy:
    • Go to the profile, tap "..." and choose Report.
    • Email our safety team directly at support <AT> PositiveSingles.com.
    • Your report will be reviewed promptly, and necessary action will be taken.

  • Age Requirements

    Members must be 20 or older to join our community. Members suspected to be under 20 will be banned from the site.

    If your account is suspended for being below the minimum age requirement, you can appeal by providing valid proof of age or completing an age verification process.

    Anyone who suspects that another account is under 20 years old can report it using the steps above.

  • PS is a Dating Site

    Our platform is all about finding meaningful relationships. Escorts or prostitutes are banned, as they go against the terms of our End User Service Agreement.

  • No Abuse or Bullying

    PS reserves the right to ban abusive members.

  • No Virtual Relationships, Scammers, Frauds or Catfishing

    Those that mislead other members will be banned and may face additional legal consequences.

  • No Low-Quality Photos

    We also reserve the right to block low-quality and low-effort profiles.

  • Honesty and Respect

    Be truthful in your profile, updates, and interactions with others. Show respect to all members, regardless of their background, opinions, or preferences.

  • Mutual Consent and Boundaries

    Make sure all relationships and interactions are consensual and respect personal boundaries. Avoid pressuring or manipulating others into uncomfortable situations.

  • No Harassment or Discrimination

    We strictly prohibit harassment, bullying, or discrimination. This includes offensive language, threats, hate speech, and derogatory comments. Engaging in such behavior may result in being banned.

  • Privacy and Personal Information

    Respect others' privacy and avoid sharing personal information without consent, including contact details, addresses, or other sensitive info.

  • No Spam or Advertising

    Avoid posting spam, ads, or self-promotional content without permission, such as affiliate links, product promotions, or unrelated content to PS.

  • Appropriate Content

    Share only relevant and suitable content for the PS community. Explicit or adult content, such as nudity, explicit language, or graphic imagery, must be shared privately and consensually.

  • Report Violations

    If you come across any violations of these guidelines, kindly report them to us immediately. We'll review and take the necessary action.

  • Follow the Law

    Make sure your actions on our platform adhere to all relevant laws and regulations. Illegal activities, such as fraud, extortion, or solicitation, will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
